An important weekend ahead with three planetary events; today’s full moon and the ingresses of the Sun and Venus to the signs of Taurus and Aries respectively. There are no major aspects but the Moon’s position, at least until late Sunday afternoon, does not help our mood much.
Shortly after its opposition with the Sun at the last degree of Libra at 14:12, the moon will enter the sign of Scorpio, a position that does not suit its nature and this increases internal tension. The feelings become stronger and have depth. We may catch ourselves becoming more suspicious when it comes to others. But we have strong “instinct” too.
It is positive that while the Moon travels in Scorpio it will not come into any negative aspects with the exception of its opposition with Uranus at 19:35, which has the power to upset us or our plans through a sudden or unexpected event. Tomorrow’s trine with Neptune gives inspiration and imagination and can calm inner tension, at least for a few hours.
For the most part of Sunday the Moon will be void-of-course until it enters the sign of optimism Sagittarius, hence it is best to just take it easy and relax. The Moon-Uranus opposition affects most the fixed signs Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius born 22-23 January, 23-24 April, 24-25 July, and 25-26 October, so be extra careful in anything you do. The trine affects positively the water signs Caners, Scorpios and Pisces born 8-9 March, 10-11 July, 10-11 November.
The influence of the Full Moon, which is practically an opposition between the Sun and the Moon, only lasts for 2-3 days. An opposition aspect always entails the element of pressure and clash. This is why there are phenomena of increased violence, high tempers, and more arguments during Full Moons. It is the clash of the male (Sun) and the female (Moon). Tension peaks during the full moon and gradually diminishes. Full Moons always bring things to light. It shines a light on situations so that we can see what is working and what isn’t and make changes accordingly.
This Full Moon takes place at the axis of interpersonal relations and partnerships with others. It affects most the cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn born on the last day of the sign and those who have personal planets at those points.
At 11:56 on Saturday the Sun enters the sign of Taurus until 21 May. From here the Sun wants us to be practical, grounded, and stable. It wants us to pay more attention to the steady values (material and non-material). We prefer to move slowly so that we are certain with our decisions and not make mistakes. The Sun’s transit from Taurus favors more the earth Signs Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn.
At 19:11 on the same day Venus will enter the sign of Aries. A position that will make it very erotic, impatient, impulsive, and dynamic. Venus’s transit from Aries, which will last until 15 May, will be analysed in a separate article.
I suggest that this weekend avoid as much as you can finding yourself in situations that can cause tension and arguments. Take advantage of the pleasant atmosphere of tomorrow evening to relax or to do something enjoyable like watch a movie or a show. Take it easy on Sunday and relax as much as you can if possible.
Those born on 18-20 March, 14 April, 21-23 July, 17 August, 22-24 November, 16 December (regardless of year) could have a gain or an opportunity of sorts today. Those born 22-23 January, 23-24 April, 24-25 July, and 25-26 October need to be more careful in anything and everything they do because they are dealing with the Uranus transit at the moment.
