The Stars Today – 25 April 2019

Today is another day with many obligations, duties, and tiredness for most. It is a day with no major aspects but the energies from the aspects of the past few days, Plutos’s retrograde and the influence from the aspects of the next days (the difficult square between Mars and Neptune on Saturday) are already working influencing the day’s atmosphere.

The Moon continues to be in the difficult for its nature sign of Capricorn bringing many “to dos”, responsibilities, obligations that cause tiredness but need to be carried out.  At the same time, from this position the moon helps long-term plans and goals, it helps us become more organized, disciplined, diligent as well as more patient and effective.

A sextile with Neptune at 12:22 is of minor significance but acts supportively and brings inspiration and imagination to the practical earth signs Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn born in the second decan of their signs) while its conjunction with Saturn at 17:33 can bring the day’s tiredness to the surface or we can feel really pressed.

The atmosphere becomes heavier at 22:48 when the Moon conjuncts Pluto. This is an aspect that can cause sadness, melancholy, emotional pressure or feelings of depression. Immediately afterwards the moon will be void-of-course until 12:27 tomorrow when it will enter the sign of Aquarius and the climate will change again.

The day’[s planetary atmosphere seems to fit right in with the general meaning of Holy Week (Orthodox Easter week) and the heavy climate of Maundy Thursday. Today I suggest you take advantage of the day’s supportive energy to do everything you have to do since you can be quite effective and just take it easy tonight. The day is not offered for partying but this is something that most would not choose to do this week anyway due to the spirit of the days.
