Today starts with the moon at the 6^th day of its cycle, in waxing phase, having just entered its home sign, Cancer at 06:31. This is a very good position for the moon; it is the ruler after all. This morning we possibly woke up feeling more sensitive, more emotional. We generally feel more “homey” today. This position gives better mood to the water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces), especially those born during the first week.

There are no major aspects today even though yesterday’s hard aspects continue to influence but to a lesser degree. Tomorrow’s square between Mercury and Jupiter has already started working.

Shortly after midnight Mercury made a sextile with Pluto and the Moon comes into a sextile with Uranus at 09:49. This is a weak aspect of short-duration that can bring sudden meetings or activities.

Mercury in sextile with Pluto is an aspect that increases intuition, gut feeling, and gives mental depth. We can concentrate on our goal. We can analyse in depth and understand information better. The truth rises to the surface. In conjunction with tomorrow’s square between Mercury and Jupiter, it would be best to be careful as gossip, big words, machinations, scandals are possible. It affects more the Pisces, Cancers, Virgos, and Capricorns who were born on 14 March, 16 July, 16 September, and 14 January.

The moon in Cancer becomes very emotional and sensitive with fluctuating emotions. While it was in Gemini we felt more communicative and were more active. It is likely that we will now turn inwards. We need peace and calmness. We need to be in familiar places where we feel safe. We want to feel that we “belong” somewhere. Feelings become deeper and intuition is heightened. The gut feeling is strong. We want to do more with and for our family and the people we love.

Today is a good day to focus on activities that have to do with the home and family. We can do things that please us as well as those we consider as “our own.” We can also do stuff related to the house as a building or organize a family get-together. We can do anything that meets our needs as well as our urge “to take care.” Activities that are related to water or near water, such as a walk to the beach or a relaxing bath, are also good choices.

Those born on 10 March, 14 April, 12 July, 17 August, 12 November, 16 December are favored today and they could have a gain of any form today whether a profit, a meeting, or an opportunity of sorts. Those born between 1972 and 1977 (regardless of sign) might experience an emotional “dip” sometime today – for a couple of hours – even for no specific reason. Those born 21-22 January, 22-23 April, 25 July, and 25-26 October need to be constantly careful in everything they do as they are dealing with the Uranus transit at the moment.
